Brian May Signature BMG Black/Gold Special Guitar Rare Factory Hard Case! 15231

This is a 2015 Brian May Signature guitar in black finish with gold hardware and pickguard. Comes with hard to find original tremolo bar and factory hard case that says "Brian May Guitars" on the front. Guitar is in excellent playing and cosmetic condition. This is the model now made by Brian May's company who took over production from Burns of London a few years back. They improved the bridge using a Wilkinson that has better saddles. Still has the same Tri-Sonic pickups and locking Grover tuners, and of course May's signature switching matrix.

All electronics work and sound great on this. Frets are in good condition. Mild scuffs from playing but no deep scratches or dings. There is one small chip on the headstock (see photos). I have never seen a hard case for one of these before though I've sold many. Most come with a factory gigbag. The case is UK made by Hiscox cases and has Cheney luggage-style clasps (hi-end UK clasp sought after on old Fender cases). Also includes Cheney case key and sealed Brian May cleaning cloth. Guitar Setup
All setups are done by our in-house luthier. Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Basses get the same treatment minus the string change. Thanks!

Packing
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 10 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case.
