Remanufactured at Scott Baxendale’s guitar shop in Athens GA.
I’ve owned it for a couple of years and really enjoyed playing it. I’ve actually gigged with it and taken it to rehearsals. It’s not just pretty to look at, it was re-made to be played.
It looks great, plays great and has its own special sound. Check out Scott’s other guitars if you’re not familiar with his process. There are many big name players across the world using his remanufactured guitars. This particular guitar has an x braced arch top, round hole with an adjustable banjo style neck joint. So it’s hard to compare to other instruments.
Has a stunning gold leaf stencil motif on the front and a beautiful smoky burst.
Spruce top, mahogany back and sides, mahogany neck. Ivoroid headstock overlay.
Totally rebuilt. New bridge, new nut, new frets. All cracks were repaired during remanufacturing. Comes with a hardshell case.
Will never need a costly neck reset, instead you can just have your luthier re-adjust the neck joint.
Golden age tuners.
Like all Baxendale guitars, this thing is plenty loud but very balanced. I’m a loud singer so I enjoy playing this one, since it can really keep up with me. Very bold sound when you need it.
