Landry Amps PLX+ Plexi 50 Watt Head with NOS Mullard Mustard Caps

This is the only PLX+ Plexi 50 Watt head that Landry built.   

Hand wired / built 3 channel 50 Watt head with NOS Mullard Mustard caps installed by Landry. Also has Landry installed Bias Ports and potentiometer. 

Channel 1 is the PLX  channel. Channel 1 is not super distorted but great for slightly overdriven rock tones like Aerosmith etc – check out the video above for the types of tones you can get.

Channel 2 is the Plexi Plus channel and takes the amp into high gain. Channel 3 takes the gain even higher and shares the EQ section with Channel 2.  EL34 Power Tubes. Onboard Reverb.

Amp is in excellent condition with plenty of life left on the original tubes.  Mounts for the PT and OT are bent.  Not sure if that happened in shipping or if they were installed that way.  Does not affect the operation or tone.

Back faceplate of chassis has some slight imperfections in the paint in 3 places. Amp came from Landry with the imperfections. You have to be in a certain light to notice them and all paint is intact - Disclosing all info.

Landry logo is not installed but included with the mounting screws.  

The linked video is of Doug Rappaport playing a prototype of this amp.  It is a killer sounding plexi type amp.  It has less gain than a G3 (I have owned the 100 and 30 watt versions), but FAR punchier.   Great sounding amp!

Stored in smoke free environment and never gigged or left the house.  No issues comes with power cable.  Ships in the original Landry shipping box.
