Into old house brand catalog guitars like Silvertone and Teisco? If so here's a Tele-Star!!!
THE LOWDOWN:
- Overall fair
- Finish has some road wear
- Tremolo is incomplete but does the job as a bridge
- Electronics work
- The PG had a crack by the jack but has been repaired (underneath) it is sturdy but doesn't go doing that over the head loop thing that the dudes in Cinderella did.
- Head is intact but is missing two bushing grommets from a round the 1st two tuner pegs (non-issue)
- Tele-Star logo is a re-issue aftermarket (not the OG - that fell off a long time ago)
- Frets and board are good BUT
- There is a chunk of missing edge binding on the top edge of the neck from about the 12th fret up (not weird feeling but is there)
- Action is pretty good and quite low and plays well
- Knobs are not original
In all:
- This is a cool old MIJ guitar that plays fairly well
