This MF75 OM is a beautifully crafted, understated guitar with a big warm sound that delivers a stunning performance and suits many musical genres and playing styles. The solid rosewood body generates a dynamic, full tonal spectrum that delivers shimmering trebles, an articulate mid-range, with robust bass. The solid AA grade Cedar top was constructed with hand finished X braces that are forward shifted for a responsive, open tone. in combination with the natural gloss finish on the solid Indian Rosewood cured back and sides.
The all solid wood body on this MD75 makes a real difference in tone and Alvarez gets the best out the solid wood construction delivering a powerful, open sounding, guitar with rounded notes and plenty of bass. Along with a hand selected, AA solid Red Cedar top, and solid rosewood backs and sides the guitar was built with a real bone nut and saddles with maple and rosewood bindings and purflings, ebony bridge pins and green abalone inlays. This Masterwork model also has a one piece mahogany neck with 12th Fret abalone inlay, a 50/50 finish, and Grover tuners.
The Masterworks forward bracing system allows the guitar to project incredibly well. There's lots of sustain and response, no matter if strummed or picked, the separation and balance across the strings is easily audible making this MD75 Masterworks a very impressive yet affordable all solid wood line guitar.
