Hey guys, I'm selling my Barefaced Retro Six10 - comes with cover.
Sorry - not shipping this at the moment due to the enormous cost of shipping.
**** So... this is one heck of a deal if you are local to the Nashville area ****
I have this marked as "very good" only because there is some tolex finish flaking off of the cab. It hasn't been dropped or hit or anything like that... some of these early Barefaced Retro cabs had a problem with the tolex covering that they used and it flakes off on its own in places. I've captured photos of the finish flaking as best I can in the sunlight. It's mostly on the back and bottom, so wouldn't be visible from the front.
The cab itself is in excellent condition structurally, sound quality and performance wise.
I purchased this from the original use on TalkBass last year and it's only been used a handful of times for rehearsals and a couple of gigs.
Great cab, excellent vintage tone, and TONS of power handling - 1200 Watts RMS into 4 Ohms. Careful or you might drown out your drummer and guitarist with his Marshall stack.
These are over $1700 new - not including the cost of shipping. And with this one, you don't have to wait 6 months for it to get built.
Only reason I'm selling is because I will be without a car soon and I need to downsize my rig to fit into an Uber or Lyft.
I may be wrong, but I *think* I have this priced to sell.
If you want the giant vintage tone of an Ampeg 8x10, but with wayyyyy more power handling, AND the ability to fit it into the backseat of a Mazda 3 without help, then you just may have found what you're looking for.
