Sabian Hand Hammered Rock Ride from the era where "Hand Hammered" was written in large non-standard font (you can see the ghost of this logo, but the cymbal has been polished and most of the ink is gone, especially on top). The cymbal has a traditional finish but as mentioned, that finish has been polished up to some degree (I don't see any buffmarks or anything, though). It weighs about 3280 grams (heavier than most HH Rocks I've seen). It has some nicking, mostly in one picture there.. the other picture show some other lesser nicks and some mild curvature (hard to call them dents.. it's not much to see). There's no cracks. There's a tiny bit of finish wear at the center hole. MY OPINION ON SOUND: The cymbal kinda sounds like a large metallic bell.. except it has a lot of steely percussive tap to it.. so, it's not overly "musical note" sounding.. it's got some lightning and darkness and some mist... Huge sound.. lots of sustain.. sounds like stadium rock. Not sure how you would go about playing this for quiet music.. It booms and I haven't heard much like it (most rock rides just have a bright, musical note kind of sound to em.. this brings the steel)
