Gibson SG '61 Reissue 2007 - Black with Gold Hardware - Guitar of the Week #6 - Excellent - OHSC

Here's a real beauty: a 2007 Gibson SG '61 Reissue in "Antique Ebony" (BLACK) with all-gold hardware. This was Gibson's Guitar of the Week #6, limited to just 400 guitars, and so it has a few special features, such as the antique fretboard binding (much more golden than they normally use) and even the antiqued-gold "crown" logo on the headstock. Gibson calls this color "Antique Ebony" but it looks like glossy black to me, and that's just fine.

Standard features of the "61 Reissue include the wonderful '60s slim-taper neck, 22-fret rosewood fretboard with trapezoid inlays, a pair of '57 Classic Gibson humbuckers, Tune-o-Matic bridge, stopbar tailpiece, "top hat" volume and tone knobs with gold pointers, Kluson Deluxe tuners, and gold Schaller strap locks.

Excellent condition.  I'm hesitant to say any seven-year-old guitar is "mint" but honestly except for very light marks on the pickguard, I can't find a mark on this one. It still looks (and smells) brand-new. No dings, dents, cracks, breaks, buckle rash, scratches, repairs, or modifications. No fretwear that I can see. Everything works as it should. Squeaky clean. This is one super-nice guitar, folks.

Comes with the original Gibson hardshell case, with the white plush lining, also in excellent condition. Please take a close look at all the photos.
