Collings OM1E Orchestra Model, Engelmann Spruce, Mahogany - VIDEO
(NEW) Our first Collings Orchestra Model to be delivered in 2022 has a few familiar upgrades: we've taken the strong clarity and fundamental of mahogany and topped it with Engelmann spruce, the softest top wood that Collings offers. The Engelmann adds a dimension of extra warmth to the guitar, and it adds up to an instrument that is highly responsive for fingerstyle, but also produces a smooth, blended tone when strummed.
This OM1E has a 1 3/4" nut and 2 3/16" string spacing at the saddle. It has the standard modified "V" neck and 25 1/2" scale length. Standard style 1 appointments include b/w/b top purfling and tortoise body binding. Ebony fingerboard, bridge and pins, and mildly figured ebony peghead overlay. Waverly open back tuners. Includes TKL hard case.
