Selling my beloved Martin Soprano saxophone. It's been with me for 23 year now.

It was built in the 1920's and has a BIG sound. I had this overhauled a while back and it's still playing nice. I'm not a soprano player exclusively so this got about 10% of the playing time as my tenors did.

Plays well in tune, better than some modern horns according to my soprano playing friends. Seriously, this horn upset a few of them.

Silver is obviously tarnished and probably a good 25% of it has worn away so if you don't find the beauty in the worn, this ain't your horn. But if you want a great player that even the great Dave Liebman speaks highly of, consider this horn.

Plays tight but keep in mind I have not had it serviced in a while so do factor in a trip to your tech. I did have a couple of springs and pads replaced by KB Sax around 5 years ago.

I'm in zero hurry to sell this so for the time being I prefer local sale only. I will happily ship though, but please let's have a conversation about your needs and questions before we commit. I do not accept returns cause I'm not a big box store got it? Thanks!
