Acoustic Research AR LST LST 1972

Acoustic Research LST Speakers (1975) in exceptionally good condition. Rare opportunity to buy a pair of completely refurbished original Classic LST from 1975 in pristine condition. These have been brought up to an exceptional high standard over the last year. All 18 drivers and controls working as they should. The original tweeters were sent to New York USA where they were worked on by Classic Speaker Page recommendation Chris Reverbdmit who checked and hand rewound any that were not performing at their optimum, on return these and the rest of the cabinets and drivers were thoroughly tested and reassembled by John at Loudspeaker Design and Refurbishment. The top veneer on each was carefully matched and replace by John and the grills were replaced using the correct Permin Wichelt count linen. They are currently set up in my studio in Farnham and sound superb with all the attributes these classic speakers are known for; great staging and a very natural sound. They are currently being driven by a classic Audiolab amp, Im happy to demonstrate. I have been fortunate over the years to have owned AR 3a, 6, 7, 2ax and LST2 but these have been the best but were always destined to be moved on as I have developed an interest in OB speakers.
