I put a lot of love into this bass but selling to pay off a custom I’m having built. This is my first Sire bass and I can attest to the build quality and feel. Neck is a dream! The only thing I didn’t care for were the stock parts… so I made this a project and updated the following:
Pickups - Aguilar 4P hum canceling set
Saddles - Graph tech Tusk saddles
Tuners - Schaller
Thumb rest
Strap lock buttons
Fender jazz bass knobs
Bass comes with original pickups, Dunlop strap parts, and Sire gig bag which are great!
These mods alone cost about $600 with tax and shipping. Two days of research and install? That’s on the house ;)
Once purchased, I will buy a reverb shipping pack (best deal for shipping boxes and quality is great) and ship via UPS (I will not ship USPS and FedEx seems to be higher in my region). Turnaround time will be asap but depends on arrival time of box from reverb. This is why shipping is $100… great box and reliable shipping.
