The versatile overdrives and crushing distortions modern guitar icon Tom Morello creates are hard-hitting and jaw dropping. No matter the setting, with Rage Against the Machine, Audioslave, or as a solo artist, Morello's chops with guitar effects are legendary.

Today, Morello teams up with the masterminds at MXR to capture a fully authentic overdrive experience that goes one step beyond for fans of the guitarist or any overdrive aficionado, for that matter. The MXR Power 50 features an intuitive setup to get into the action. Three EQ controls along with Volume and Gain knobs dial in classic Morello overdrive tones. Along with a unique Presence control which adjusts the high-end frequencies of the entire output signal, this drive is deep and customizable. A built-in effects loop allows players to work other effects into the equation to build a larger and more expressive effect chain. The deeper functionality of the Power 50 Overdrive makes it outstanding for pedalboard tinkerers as well as take-to-the-stage players. Fire up the Power 50 and start your own tonal revolutions.
