The Bourgeois OM-45 custom from Dana Bourgeois and company in Lewiston, ME is an iconic top echelon build with glitz and glamore and all the Pearl in the right place. Choice colorful 45-style Abalone Pearl is artfully inlaid on every edge- top border, rosette, back, sides, back strip, wedge and along the neck heel, plus Dana Bourgeois’ 45 style custom Pearl snowflakes adorn the fretboard from the 1st to the 15th fret, as well as the wings of the bridge. The headstock is topped with Dana’s presentation ‘Floral’ inlay and logo for a classy timeless look. This combo package of Pearl and tonewoods adds the right amount of bling to this custom guitar.
The premium powerhouse tonewoods of Aged Tone (torrefied) Italian Spruce top paired with a premium set of Madagascar Rosewood for the back and sides produces the robust tone, dark and forward bass and low mids with clear and forward mids and crisp highs. All of this is the hallmark of the Bourgeois OM-45 with hand carved Aged Tone torrefied Adirondack Spruce bracing and voiced top with Animal Protein (AP) glue. Toppings like the full Ivoroid bindings and Gold Waverly engraved tuners on Mahogany neck complete this show piece guitar.
