Larrivee classical 1980

Great sounding Larrivee classical model L-35 made in Victoria around 1981 (s/n 351551)

Beautiful Sitka spruce top, solid East Indian rosewood back and sides with rosewood binding.  The neck is dead straight, thanks in part to the premium ebony fingerboard that has provided rigidity for the last 37 years.  Tuning heads are good quality and look original, no modifications or crack repairs on this one.

The finish on the top is scuffed up with some pick marks (I know!) but other than that the guitar is in good condition.  It has been played over the years and is well broken in, with deep bass and nice string to string projection.  The scuff marks on the top are the main reason the price is so reasonable.  This would make a great gigging classical or an excellent second guitar when you don't feel like hauling your number 1 around.  This instrument includes a lightweight but very strong flight case, most likely the original.
