La Hizumitas a été conçue pour la seule et unique Wata du groupe expérimental légendaire Boris, l'un des groupes les plus puissants au Japon, également connu pour leur collaboration avec le groupe américain Sunn O))) et Ian Astbury de The Cult.

La Hizumitas est une reproduction fidèle de la pédale de saturation de Wata, la Elk BM Sustainar, une variante japonaise de la très célèbre "Triangle" BMP. EQD a méticuleusement étudié la pédale personnelle de Wata et découvert qu'elle avait quelque chose de spécial que les autres n'avaient pas : une saturation lourde avec un grain particulier et des graves massives, tout en gardant un son brillant et dynamique avec assez de médiums et d'aiguës pour ressortir dans le mix. EQD a réuni toutes ces caractéristiques dans la Hizumitas.

Cette pédale de fuzz-distorsion donne beaucoup de saturation lourde et un sustain doux avec du mordant, qui sonne comme des haut-parleurs au bord de l'explosion, tout en délivrant une clarté tout à fait inattendue.

Le réglage Sustain offre une grande variété de saturation où chaque changement affectera grandement le son. La Hizumitas réagit très bien à tous les types de micro et de dynamiques de jeu. Vos power chords sonneront gros et lourd, tandis que les accords ouverts seront dynamiques avec une superbe distinction de notes, enfin les notes seules seront douces mais puissantes, surtout avec le micro manche.

Le réglage Tone peut complètement changer le caractère de la saturation, des médiums agressives aux aiguës perçantes.

La réglage Volume offre énormément de gain en sortie à partir du quart de tour.

The Hizumitas was designed for the one and only Wata of the legendary experimental band Boris, one of the most powerful bands in Japan, also known for their collaboration with the American band Sunn O))) and Ian Astbury of The Cult.

The Hizumitas is a faithful reproduction of Wata's saturation pedal, the Elk BM Sustainar, a Japanese variant of the famous "Triangle" BMP. EQD meticulously studied Wata's personal pedal and discovered that it had something special that the others didn't: heavy saturation with a distinctive grain and massive bass, while still sounding bright and dynamic with enough midrange and treble to stand out in the mix. EQD has combined all of these characteristics in the Hizumitas.

This fuzz-distortion pedal gives plenty of heavy saturation and smooth sustain with bite, sounding like speakers on the verge of exploding, while delivering a clarity that is quite unexpected.

The Sustain setting offers a wide variety of saturation where each change will greatly affect the sound. The Hizumitas reacts very well to all types of pickups and playing dynamics. Your power chords will sound big and heavy, while open chords will be dynamic with a superb note distinction, and single notes will be soft but powerful, especially with the neck pickup.

The Tone control can completely change the character of the saturation, from aggressive mids to piercing highs.

The Volume control offers a lot of output gain from the quarter turn.
