The Gibson 1942 Banner LG-2 has a particular essence about it. An outstanding instrument from Gibson, the 1942 Banner LG-2 captures an authentic feel and tone that could not be replicated elsewhere. The smaller-scaled LG-2 body constructed of Thermally Aged Adirondack red spruce with mahogany back and sides is assembled to create rich and refined acoustic tones that are unmistakably Gibson. Easily held in the arms of any player, a bluesy and folksy voice resonates out dynamic and balanced. A mahogany neck in a Historic-shaped profile feels natural in hand while exploring up and down the rosewood fingerboard. The 1942 Banner LG-2 embodies Gibson's rich history and prestige as one of the most revered names in musical instruments with intriguing looks and indispensable tones to match.
