This package is one of my prized possessions, but I can’t justify having them sit in my studio not being used. If nothing else, someone should display the whole set. The guitar has some wear and tear, as it was clearly a working instrument, it plays perfectly and has a cool vintage sound. The cable is the only thing not period correct. The pick guard has cracked off the front peg and I’m just not confident in my vintage repair skills to take that on. It plays great anyway.
Speaking of cool vintage sound, the accompanying amplifier sounds so cool. Its Jensen speaker and transformer have an incredible vintage vibe, nice midrange, with fat tube sound, of course. I had my amplifier tech put her through her paces when I first got her, and he installed a grounded plug to make sure it doesn’t zap you. I also have the original brass screws, but he replaced the originals with period correct ones, as they had started to corrode over their 80+ year lives.
The case and all accessories except for the cable are from the same set. It will be expertly, carefully. and securely packed, and I always use Reverb Shipping Protection. This item is listed as is, no returns. However, it all functions absolutely perfectly.
