Very nice and quite rare 1994 Yamaha FJ 661 jumbo, on consignment. Only made for two years, which I suspect may indicate it was starting to cut into the market for Yamaha’s solid wood Professional Series guitars. This one is laminates, not out of any cheapness, but for stability during export as was done by a number of high quality Japanese manufacturers. Spruce top, m******y back and sides, ebony fretboard and bridge. Semi-satin finish. Excellent condition throughout, with very clean back (no buckle). A few small dings and dents on front, but nothing offensive. This guitar was played in church, so you know that could get a little rowdy! Very easy player, with ~1/16” thru 3/32” high-E 12th fret. IMO it could actually take a slightly taller saddle if you’re an aggressive player (I tend to leave consignments the way I get them). Very nice crisp and powerful tone. Original case that is rock solid, but one latch is missing its hoop and there’s a little bit of Tolex peeling. Sorry for the high shipping quote. That's an estimate to the West Coast, and I'll refund the difference if it's less closer to Ohio.
