About This Listing

Due to the nature of this piece, this guitar is presented as is. Please read further for a full disclosure of the product's condition.

Cosmetic Condition: Lots of checking, bumps, and scrapes. One in particular stands out on the back of the neck. There are lots of small holes in the top suggesting a pickguard was added then removed at some point. The bridge looks to be modified, showing exposed unfinished wood. There is tarnishing on the chrome parts and some clouding on parts of the finish, especially the headstock. There is some cracking around the binding and a few other cracks around the sides that appear only finish deep. The knobs have all been replaced. Lastly, there is some binding separation on the fretboard starting on the bass side.

Playing Condition and Functionality: The neck has a bit of wave to it but it isn’t terribly warped. The neck pickup appears to be a replacement that does not fill the original cavity. There is only a single screw in the pickguard but it does stay put when moved. The frets are very small and worn and may need replacing soon. The tuners function normally and the electronics are in good shape. There is a repair to the headstock under the G tuner in which the area was routed out and filled with another piece of wood. Lastly, the neck has been shimmed. This piece is roadworn and well played, but it has a nice sound and a great look. With some TLC, it could be an awesome player! Ships in its original chipboard case.
