Very pretty Cripple Creek hourglass dulcimer with leaves and birds sound holes. Bud and Donna Ford of The Dulcimer Shop, we’re known for their quality instruments. They built and repaired dulcimers from the early 1970’s, until they closed shop for good in 2014.
There are repaired hairline splits on the sound holes that are cosmetic only. Case is in great shape with only a couple flaws. Latches are secure. Very nice grain on walnut back and sides. Spruce top. New D’Addario strings. Nice ringing tone.
