This sensational exclusive flamenco guitar was developed by maestro flamenco guitarist Geronimo Maya and luthier Vassilis Lazarides.
The old-sounding and responsive flamenco tone of this instrument is due to a special bracing and some historical chitarra design aspects. She has a lot of percussive power, and the basses are punchy and dark. She also has a quick response and well-balanced tone, with trebles that have a dry, clear-singing and sweet touch. Back and sides are made from beautiful aged Pau Ferro, and the soundboard is made from premium aged German Spruce with essential cross silk grain patterns.
The rosette design is based upon one of the early authentic Torres rosettes. The tasteful, beautiful mother-of-pearl inlays in the rosette and bridge make this instrument an even more special and beautiful instrument. Vassilis only makes a very limited number of this Geronimo Maya flamenco guitar.
To add icing to the cake, this instrument has been upgraded with hand-engraved Alessi Historical Simplicius 1925 Sterling Silver Tuners with gold inlays. The buttons are mother-of-pearl.
Note: This guitar is in excellent condition. However, it does have some very light golpe scuff marks below the scratch plate (see last picture).
