Based out of Minneapolis, we tour the country looking for new vintage gear to sell online!
We specialize in anything drum related from the early 1900's to the 1980's
We sell drums, hardware, parts, cymbals etc.
We take pride in making sure all items are cleaned and restored to as close to their original condition as possible before selling. We make our descriptions as accurate as possible. If there is an issue or concern, please contact us before purchasing. If you require additional photos, we will do our best to accommodate. Please note that sales are NOT final until payment is received.
From the 1920's this is an incomplete Deagan marimba. We believe this is model 725, but we're not 100% certain. Bars are rosewood with a 1 5/8" width. It's missing the entire frame, and many of the lower register bars. There are a few higher register bars missing as well. The crates shown in the pictures are just to hold it up. It has not been refurbished and is a bit dirty/dusty especially in the crevices and the resonators. Aside from that is shows signs of use with scratches, mallet marks, and minor staining on the bars. Some may have somewhat deep gouges. No cracks or other issues. Aside from needing a good cleaning resonators are in good shape. They do have some rust and pitting. No cracks. This definitely needs love, but is still a beautiful instrument. Could be fully playable. See the pictures for more details!
