Joe Bonamassa Autographed “Amos” Korina Flying V

Potential buyer couldn’t complete sale so it’s being relisted and price reduced. Fantastic guitar for the price. This guitar started life as a Joe Bonamassa '58 Amos limited run Flying V, purchased from Joe Bonamassa’s website. The guitar was completely gutted and redone with all new electronics and tuners. The mods:

-         Seymour Duncan Custom Shop limited run “Amos” pickups with gold aged covers. Currently only neck pu installed but both are included.

-         Sheptone lead pickup with aged gold cover, wound to Keith Nelson’s (of Buckcherry) spec, same as he had in his Gibson Flying V

-         CTS vintage taper pot’s, Vitamin T cap

-         Switchcraft switch/jack

-         Vintage cloth wiring, rewired to vintage ’58 V specs.

-         Reissue ’58 Gold Kluson Tuners

-         “Gibson” Flying V Headstock logo from Germany

-         Gold Gibson pickguard and jackplate screws

-         Gibson knobs

-         Fret levelling and setup by professional luthier

-         All original parts (if you really want them) are included.

I have used this guitar several times on stage and it looks, plays and sounds incredible. We hire a professional sound company for our gigs and I’ve gotten comments from the sound engineer that he likes this guitar's sound better than my Wildwood spec R9 Custom Shop Les Paul. I purchased a set of the limited run Duncan Amos pickups for it but I play rock and the lead pu didn’t have enough oomph, so I had Bill Shepard wind me a pickup based off Keith Nelson’s (Buckcherry) pu that Bill wound for him. This guitar was autographed by Joe Bonamassa at the Washington Harbor show in November of 2019, one of the last gigs he did before the pandemic hit. His comment on it was “you did everything right”. All case candy, paperwork, letter from JR Adventures, autographed COA, etc. that came with the guitar and documentation is included, including the autographed “Amos” picture. It seems everyone keeps the two 8x10's that came with the Amos model, one is autographed by JB. I'm including both the pictures that came with it. Also including a ticket from the show and the “meet and greet” wristband. The case never left the house (I have another HSC that the guitar was transported in) but has a couple of minor dings from storage. It’s covered in a very soft material, not tolex. Plastic is still on the handle. The guitar is in excellent shape - no breaks, dents, dings or other issues. The Epi’s are actually closer in construction to the ’58 Flying V’s than the newer Gibsons, especially the neck heel shape. I am selling off some of my collection, and unfortunately this must go too. It really is a great guitar, Epiphone really did a nice job on this one, the Korina wood and finish is beautiful, and it made a great basis for the mods. If you don’t want the Sheptone l can knock $100 off.  $75.00 Continental US shipping only. Feel free to ask any questions.
