This a RARE guitar! It is an oringial Wandre Waid from 1959.
Wandre is an Italian Brand of instruments from the late 50's and 60's. These guitars and basses were created by Antonio Vandrè Pioli in 1957. They were built in what is called "The Round Factory" of Cavriago, Italy. He started producing instruments in February 1958, until 1968.
Wandres are famous for their unique, original shapes, their Aluminium necks, and their unique electronics. Very few Wandre Guitars and Basses were built, which make these instruments very sought after by collectors of vintage and rare instruments.
This guitar features a beautiful candle smoke finish. Legends say that this finish was made by burning a candle on freshly painted guitars.
