So this is a partscaster Strat I made during the pandemic. Has a fender subsonic baritone neck (made in Mexico, 27inch scale) a Squire affinity Strat body, one pickup (guitar heads Hexbucker and black pickup cover) with one volume knob (has a treble bleed circuit!). I also installed a Wilkinson bridge with a big steel block. I locked it down because using a tremolo with baritone strings was causing tuning stability issues. Has a graphite nut and fender locking tuners to top it all off

I set this guitar up and it plays and sounds awesome. The neck out of the box needed some fret dressing. So I rounded off the ends, polished the frets and treated the fretboard (Indian laurel) with some lemon oil. I made sure the guitar intonation was set. The guitar is tuned B standard with a set of Ernie Ball Burly strings. You can get heavier strings and tune it as low as drop G without any intonation issues with this scale neck. Current setup is best in B standard and drop A.

It’s also like, super light. Seriously, it has to weigh like 5 or 6 pounds total. This means there is a bit of neck dive when playing standing up.

Also there is no backplate for the tremolo. I mean there is technically, but the big steel block on the Wilkinson Trem sticks out too much to place it on there correctly
.

I call this beast my Chug Stick. It does one thing really, really well. It also does cleans surprisingly, the treble bleed mod helps a ton with that. My loss is your “gain”

Don’t be shy with offers, and don’t be afraid to message me with questions either! I don’t have a need for this guitar despite how awesome and fun it is to play. You don’t see a lot of worship guys out there with a Single high output pickup and baritone scale neck.

I added a YouTube video that’s the closest approximation of what this guitar sounds like. The Hexbucker pickup sounds different from the bare knuckle presented in the YouTube video but I feel it’s in the ballpark if that makes sense
