USA-made Hamer guitars are extremely well-built instruments and real bargains in the used market. Sadly, production of Hamer guitars stopped a couple of years ago. I've owned numerous USA-made Hamers over the years and consider them to be a decided step above most other production guitars.
This is a 2000 Artist Mahogany model. It's in very good condition, with a few very minor marks here and there from responsible playing and ownership. The neck joint and headstock shows the infamous "Hammeritis," which is a discoloration of the finish which affects many Hamer guitars. This is cosmetic only—not a structural concern. Frets are great, as is playability and intonation. Stored in properly humidified environment in a non-smoking home. Very comfortable guitar with upgraded Fralin P90 pickups.
