This, along with it’s Cocobolo brother, is probably the finest handcrafted guitar we’ve had for sale and it sounds absolutely incredible.
With a select Alpine Spruce top with a ridiculous amount of cross silking and an amazing Madagascar Rosewood back & sides this guitar looks stunning and is topped off with 3 bevels designed for player comfort and added accessibility to the upper frets.
It's a Jumbo body shape, so it's the larger Avalon shape which is effectively the 'Lowden' O shape, but it has the rounded cutaway making high fret access and playability much easier. Also, the bevels at strategic points across the body make it even more ergonomic and it just fits right into the body thereby making it almost feel like a smaller body design. The benefits of the Jumbo shape are incredibly apparent from strumming or fingerpicking the first chord however. This thing sings and the wood choices and upgrades giving such depth and body to the sound. Truly stunning!
