The SA-700 is basically an ES330 w/ Humbuckers instead of P-90s. So, kind of a 335/330 mix. My understanding is that it is fully hollow, save for a small block under the bridge posts. Hence its very light weight. It's in excellent shape. The two mini toggle switches appear to be a started, but unfinished, mod of some sort. Likely someone intended to do the work to somehow be able to coil split the Humbuckers or something, but abandoned it. Don't really know. However, I've plugged in and checked everything out, and the extra toggle switches do not change the sound/tone at all.
Below is the writeup from the folks I bought it from off Reverb a couple months back: Up for sale, a vintage Greco SA-700 in excellent condition and perfect working order. Finished in Cherry with some nice yellowing on the binding, and featuring two original Greco branded Humbuckers. It is hard to put an exact date on this guitar since it has no serial number. Though based on our research of Greco Logo variations and headstock shapes, we have a good feeling this guitar was made sometime between the mid to late 70s. The guitar exhibits cosmetic wear such as buckle rash, a few light scratches/minor indentations, and the parts of the neck binding on the low E side has small splits. All of the wear mentioned is strictly visual and is not interfering with the guitars overall integrity or sound. The SA-700 is original aside from the tuning machines and two additional switches installed over the pickup selector. The guitar is in great overall shape and is ready for stage and studio use, and offers smooth, bluesy tones. Includes gig bag.
