About This Listing
Looking for something that outperforms a Martin or Taylor but actually costs less? Look no further! This guitar was hand made by Indiana Master Luthier Charles Dick (see bio below). Charles knows how to get the most out of every instrument, combining classical building techniques with modern approaches to achieve stunning visual and sonic result! This 000 size acoustic will blow your mind, it has excellent power and volume but also great articulation. Every note rings clear and seems to sustain forever. Charles is an expert at top tuning, quite possibly the most essential skill in guitar building. He leaves nothing to chance by vibrating each top to check for dead zones and adjusting the bracing ever so slightly to optimize the outcome. You can clearly hear the difference this makes on your very first strum. There is not a factory in the world that pays that much attention to detail. The last picture shows the top of this guitar during the tuning process which uses glitter to identify the vibration nodes. He also uses extremely high quality woods and is as particular about build quality as anyone I have ever met. You won’t be disappointed in this guitar!
The guitar is new, I am working directly with Charles to help him thin his personal collection. There are no issues at all with the guitar, it’s as perfect as they come. Comes in a new Gator hard case.

About the builder… Charles Dick has been building guitars since 1975. Moving to western Canada he worked building and repairing both steel string and classical guitars for Frank Gay, an Edmonton luthier. It was while working for Frank he developed his philosophy of building light responsive instruments. He has continued to build throughout the years, working on guitars, violins and mandolins.
