One, Fully Manual, 2-speed, Direct Drive, Stanton Turntable, Model STR8-60. Comes equipped with an Excellent and hard to find Stanton Craze DJ Cartridge and a like new Stanton D5200SK Super Track stylus (Needle), mounted on an OEM Stanton headshell matching the turntable, High Quality Stuff! This is an Excellent Starter turntable, perfect for beginners or the seasoned Professional. Both the Stanton Cartridge and D5200SK needle are now discontinued and the parts retail from $100 to $249 on other selling platforms. This is a DJ-type turntable but it performs like an audiophile turntable and with the high output Stanton cartridge and needle, it sounds much more expensive! This turntable has similar features of the Famous Technics SL-1200 series Turntable but at 1/3 the price. I like Stanton STR8-60 turntables better than the Technics SL-1200 series for a beginner to the world of vinyl!
This Stanton STR8-60 turntable is solid, built like a tank, and practically bulletproof. Cosmetically, It is in Excellent Condition throughout. It has A FEW marks on the plinth but this doesn't effect playback at all. It is functionally Mint, Everything works and works well. The dustcover is clean with some marks but free from cracks or breaks. There is NO HUM and no background noise during play back and it comes with all the necessary cables, so it is plug and play. A very fine, discontinued Turntable and a Rare and Discontinued Cartridge and Needle.
FYI: Sensitive audio items like turntables of this type will take a couple more days to ship than other audio items (5 business days). I am extra careful and double box every turntable I ship to protect them against damage that can occur during shipment and I always utilize the Reverb Protection Plan which I pay for out if my own pocket! This protects both you and me!
