The LEO's Les Pauls were custom made for Leo's music in Oakland Ca.in 1982......These were pre custom shop attempts to capture the Magic of the 59Les Paul. This was the same select group who gave us the Guitar Traders Reissue etc..... and these are Great guitars!! The pickups are Early Tim Shaw PAF's (see cover off picture for construction detail)built to look and sound just like PAF's and even Have PAF stickers on the bottom (also has the patent number stamped into the base plate as all shaw's do)......and meter 7.5 and 7.8.......guitar had a cracked headstock well over 20 yrs ago, professionally repaired, rock solid and has never had any issuses since it was repaird. this guitar has been used on stage and in the studio since 1995 with the band Crosswind () and can be heard on their single God Guns and Freedom! When the guitar was aquired in 1995 from a store in Canada, the story was that it came from an accountant for Arrowsmith and that it was given to him by the band after it was dropped druing a tour (not sure by whom).......any way it's a cool story and the guitar is absoluetly worthy of the big stage!!  I've been told 800 were made total (most in Nashville) 400 sold overseas....this one is from the first 50 or so that were made in Kalamazoo (the rest were made after they moved the factory)........this one has the special number stamped inside the control cavity that only the Kalamazoo made Leo's had !!  Includes original Hard Shell Case
