About This Listing

Here is a rather odd MCI Guitorgan. Never seen another one like it. I was told this was a "factory" modification, but I am not sure if that is true or not.
I did recently sell a common Guitorgan to a person who knew Bob and he seems to think it is real. It does look cool. I have also never seen the plastic F hold coverings either. This guitar looks like it has not been messed with. The guitar function works well and as it should. It been set up by a local guitar mechanic. Frets cleaned and new flat wound strings installed. The organ portion functions and functions well. Clean sounding. E tune, bypass, thumb button near head stock, all buttons work normal. Minimal noise. There are 2 holes in the back of the head stock near the serial number. Unsure why those are there.
The six buttons at the bottom turn each string on and off. As for the additional knobs, I do not know what they do. When I purchased it, I was told there might be a surprise. Well, I can not figure out why there are some many 1/4" jacks, or what the extra knobs and buttons do. There may well just be a surprise waiting to happen? I was not fortunate enough to discover it.

The issues with the organ portion are: 1st string -  12th fret plays same note as15th fret 2nd string - 5th fret plays same note as 8th fret 3rd string - 9th fret plays same note as 12th fret 4th string -  2nd fret plays same note as 5th fret 5th string -  7th fret plays same note as 10th fret 6th same as first string
So, as you can see, that is 3 half steps higher. I guess that one "fix" takes care of all those issues? Perhaps it is just dirty from sitting around? The cable plugs into the guitar but is a little difficult. It goes and it threads. Just not a slip fit.
This unit comes with the guitar, the special cable, the original case, the foot pedal (serial #1184), the wiring schematic, and instructions. Also, the MCI badge which goes at the bottom of the tail piece. Does not appear that there ever was as GUITORGAN plaque on top of the UNIVOX logo. There is a small piece of the custom backing missing as seen in the photographs.
This is being sold as is. I have done my absolute best to describe this honestly and accurately.
