Style 2 Martin Soprano Ukulele. Structurally sound. Sides are crack free. Upper bout has a 1.5 inch repaired dent. Top is worn with many use marks. I see no cracks in the top. Back shows use marks and one 1.5 inch hairline crack at the waist. The back shows signs of overspray. Neck is straight and in excellent shape. Fretboard shoes little wear. Face of the headstock may have been sprayed. Headstock is imprinted on the back with the Martin logo and the Martin logo appears in the sound hole as wear. Tuners appear original and sometimes hold the strings in tune. Bridge shows wear. Please look at photos carefully. Ask question as you are buying “as is”. There is nothing dramatically wrong with this instrument but it has seen a lot of action.
This was sent to me recently:
“According to the book The Martin Ukulele, The Little Instrument That Helped Create a Guitar Giant, the tuners with grooved sides that are on your uke, Grover no.76, were only used from 1923-1927. I thought you would want to know.”
Best luck selling.
