Sound:
A superb instrument with similar tonal qualities to Duff Mandolins, very complex and woody tones with plenty of projection and volume, check out all the reviews, it really doesn't get much better than this.
Action and playability:
The instrument is set up and plays perfectly with very comfortable low action and no fret buzz. Action height at 12th fret is 7/64" 
Finish:
There is some minor strumming/player wear on the top, small ding on treble side of the neck just back from fret #1, and a small chip on the side, please see photos for details. Overall the finish is in excellent condition
