1999 Tony Zemaitis Metal Front Superior Plus Electric Guitar

1999 Tony Zemaitis Custom Deluxe plus Electric Metal Front 6-String.

I have decided that it is time for this beauty to move on to the next custodian,

One of the last metal fronts ever built by TZ, completed in 1999, Tony retired in 2001 and passed shortly thereafter in 2002.

A very high build specification with engraved rear plates, the guitar has largely been stored since new, only played occasionally to check tuning and so on.

Anyone who is familiar with Tony's metal fronts will know that the dural parts can oxidise fairly quickly, all of the metal parts on this guitar are as clean and shiny as the day that Tony completed it 23 years ago.

One owner from new, never taken out of the house, zero playwear, more provenance than you could ever want or need, including the following.

1. Sequential photographs during the build process, taken by TZ.

2. Original letters from TZ, with hand drawn directions to his home for collection purposes.

3. Zemaitis gazette collection, many with the guitar included.

4. Photograph of Tony with the guitar.

5. Engraving by Danny O'Brien.

And so on,

BTW the pickups have been upgraded to Duncan Antiquities, the original TZ humbuckers are included with the guitar (see pic).

The guitar has to be among the cleanest metal fronts ever brought to market, price is $42.500.00 which leaves around $10.000.00 of equity for the next owner, rock solid investment.
