- Description
Left Handed 1987 Fender ST72 Seventies Reissue Stratocaster Electric Guitar .
These Seventies reissues are extremely hard to come especially as a left handed instrument - I have seen a few which have been converted to right handed for that Hendrix Look .
It's a 70s reissue in vintage white with a three bolt neck, bullet truss rod and full size steel 'tremolo block'. I've been told these were made with an ash body and a Canadian maple neck.
The reputation of Japanese fenders of this era precedes them and I've found this guitar to have a build quality and character of tone beyond that of similarly priced strats.
Electrially everything works as it should and as you can imagine sounds great.
Plays ok but as with all instruments I would recommend having them setup to your specifications .
- Condition
The guitar is in good condition considering it is nearly 30 years old , it does have some small dings . scuff marks around the base and the common stress marks in the finish around the neck pocket.
