I am a classical guitarist and I have had this guitar for a few years. It is very easy to play and it has a nice warm sound.
The guitar was built in 2009 after luthier's Antonio Raya Pardo models. Raya Pardo is a renowned classical and flamenco guitar builder from Spain.
Top: Engelmann Spruce
Bracing: Sitka, Engelmann and German Spruce
Back and Sides: Indian Rosewood
Fretboard: Ebony
String Tuners: Gilbert
String Length: 650 mm
The instrument has been used to play flamenco and has transparent protectors above and below the strings. A few minor scratches on the top of the guitar, non on the back and sides. The neck has a minor bump that can be felt with the thumb behind where the 2nd fret is. There are no cracks in the instrument.
Fructuoso Zalapa Luna is one of the most renowned luthiers in México. His instruments are sought after in many countries.
Excellent clear sound, a little on the bright side. Treble and Bass very balanced, nice projection.
