VINTAGE AMP. This amp is a 2-piece unit and will power a small city. Both pieces were
hand-crafted in the USA at about the same time. They're all original.
The booming sound emanates from a very substantial cabinet housing
8 Celestion 10" speakers and a horn.
Model 810TX, with max power at
800 watts, 400 RMS at 4 ohm.
The enclosure is powered by a
Mark III bass amplifier, made in January,
1980. It's also 800 watts. Check out the photos. The amp has many sound-shaping features. Both pieces have had
minimal usage and are in
excellent condition.

UPDATE--------I just found a foot switch that goes with this amp and will post pix soon. Made by Peavey. It's called an "
AUTOMIXER", and it has 2 on/off foot switches--------1 is marked "
SELECTOR"-------the other is marked "
COMBINER". It's attached to a
15-foot cord with a plug that's compatible with the plug on the lower right portion of photo # 1. I've researched what it does and will forego a long-winded, and probably inaccurate, explanation. It pertains to Channel B, which is for guitars. If you are buying this as a bass amp, you probably won't even use it.
