Fender American Vintage Reissue '57 Replacement Neck with Fender American Vintage tuners
These were made by Fender for a few years the early 2000s to AVRI specs with the addition of the laser etched Fender logo on the reverse side of the headstock as an anti-piracy measure. Originally shipped in a "Crown Royal" style blue velvet bag, which I don't have anymore.
Maple with nitro finish. Soft-V profile. 7.25" radius. Vintage frets.
My cheap hardware-store caliper measures the following rough profile:
Nut: 1"
1st fret: 0.875"
8th fret: 0.875"
12th fret: 0.906"
19th fret: 1"
The soft-V profile seems to be designed to fit the natural shape of your hand when playing open chords. It's not fat or bulky like some Les Paul necks. The V shape transitions into a C shape by the 4th fret. The rest of the fretboard resembles medium C dimensions.
Straight and solid. No dings. No finish wear.
The fret edges are very smooth; no sharp edges.
Very light fret wear on the first several frets.
There are a couple of small, light abrasions in the finish near the heel. (see the photos)
