Richmond Empire Guitar by Godin - Natural Finish with Custom Tortoise Pickguard

The Richmond Empire was introduced by Godin in 2010 and offered until 2013. Made in Quebec, Canada, the guitar's specs include:   

-  24-3/4”scale
- 12″radius Ergocut rosewood fingerboard
- 1-11/16″ nut
- Low noise single-coil neck pickup
- Custom-designed Godin bridge humbucker pickup
- Single cutaway solid body with silver leaf maple center and poplar wings
- Volume and tone controls
- 3-way pickup selector switch
- Satin finish bolt-on mahogany neck
- High-ratio tuning machines
- Chrome wraparound vintage style bridge  

This instrument's body features a hard to find natural finish that nicely shows off the wood, and is fitted with a WD Music custom 4 ply tortoise-shell pickguard. The control cavities have been shielded with Stew Mac conductor paint and cavity covers with copper foil to eliminate 60 cycle hum. Additional Improvements include an upgraded bridge with adjustable intonation and bone nut.    

Professionally set up by master luthier Trevor Healy (healyguitars.com), this is a great playing, great sounding instrument in mint condition. It has been stored in my smoke-free home recording studio for over six years with virtually zero playing time since I purchased it second-hand. and is being sold for much less than my total investment in the instrument.  

Included in the listing is a high quality Godin gig bag, the original black pickguard and wraparound bridge, extra volume and tone knobs, and a set of DR .009-.042 strings.
