Warwick 2001 Streamette / Corvette LTD 2001 Natural Birdseye Top

2001 Warwick Corvette LTD also known as a Streamette. Only 75 were built from bodies left over when the Warwick factory was in the process of moving. The top is Birdseye Maple and the back is Etimoe. The neck is Ovangkol and the fingerboard is Wenge.
I am the original owner of this bass. I purchased it in 2001 at Rudy's Music Stop in NYC. It is overall in great shape. There is a thumb mark over one of the pickups from being played and the gold MEC logo has worn off one of the pickups for the same reason. It has been strung with LaBella Tapewound strings almost since I brought it home. I wanted a more upright sound and also wanted to reduce any wear on the frets and fingerboard.
Frets and fingerboard are in great shape. One of the tuning keys was replaced with a factory Warwick key under warranty in 2002. Mirrored MEC Precision pickups and active MEC electronics give this bass a very balanced sound. The LaBella strings gave it a nice warm tone for semi-acoustic shows. Regular round wound strings will bring it back to the very punchy Warwick sound with a nice bottom end and very clear mids and highs.
No dings anywhere on this bass. It has never been dropped, abused or misused. It has no modifications whatsoever. Electronics are crackle free and in good working order. It has been stored in a smoke free home. As of this revision, the bass will be cross listed on multiple sites and may end at any time. Includes generic hard shell case.
