A beautiful Heritage H-140, Les Paul-style solid electric guitar in a rare midnight-black finish. Carved maple top with stunning figuring on a solid mahogany body.   Hand-built in Kalamazoo, USA - which you can feel immediately - the guitar plays wonderfully and has a lovely vintage LP tone and sustain. It was built in either 1990 or 1998 (I'm not sure whether the serial number starts with a G or an O - see photo).

D-shaped glued-on neck with a low, fast action, 22 frets, 24 3/4" scale and a rosewood fretboard. Body is 1 & 5/8'' thick and weighs 9.2lbs.  I've upgraded the hardware with a Tonepros locking bridge and tailpiece set. These drop-on to the original posts with absolutely no modification and can be reversed in 5 minutes by re-installing the originals if that's what you prefer. Sale includes all the original hardware, featuring Grover machine-heads, Schaller adjustable roller-bridge and tailpiece, twin Schaller humbucker pickups and cream scratch plate. Unused Tonepros posts included. The last photo shows the guitar setup with the original bridge, tailpiece and scratch plate installed.  Complete with the original Heritage custom-made premium hard case, lockable with key included.

It has been very carefully looked after and is in very good condition throughout. No repairs. A few very small dings on the body and on the headstock (see photos). Some light, superficial scratches on the body rear, only visible against the light. Neck and frets show little wear. Nitro-lacquer finish in good condition throughout. All hardware - pickups, tuners, switches and electrics etc - in good working order. Case in very good condition.
The H-140 was Heritage's first production model and immediately sealed their reputation as producers of the finest hand-made, quality guitars.  This comes professionally set-up and would be very suitable for rock, blues or even jazz.  In fact anything a first-class Les Paul would do.

Good luck with your bidding and please ask any questions.
