About This Listing

(USED) Our good friend and local luthiery legend Chuck Baleno continues to impress us with his bespoke builds. We've said it before but it's worth repeating: Baleno guitars offer some of the best value out there, made from premium materials, meticulously voiced, and carrying standard features that can add up to thousands of dollars on other boutique brands.

This slope D has an understated look and a well-balanced voice that makes it much more versatile than your typical jumbo. It has an Engelmann spruce top, a wood that is treasured for its warmth and quick response. The back and sides are tried and true Indian rosewood. It has a mahogany neck with Baleno's latest generation mod V profile, his most comfortable neck shape ever, if you ask us. 1 23/32" nut, ebony fingerboard with dot inlays. Long 25.34" scale for more projection and power. Cosmetics include Bubinga bindings, 3-ring rosette with maple center ring, and simple b/w/b top purfling.

For optimal performance, Chuck uses hide glue construction on the top braces, stainless steel frets (good luck wearing those out!) and his compensated nut and saddle assure the best intonation possible. Everything about this guitar is top quality!

Guitar is in like-new condition with no wear.
