This MC-202 is in excellent condition for it's age.
It was serviced by LA Synth Co. to have CV/Gate inputs installed so that it can bypass the internal sequencer, and be controlled by an external CV/Gate sequencer, instead. If the cv/gate mod sockets aren't being used, then it defaults back to normal internal sequencer mode.
This is excellent for integration with a modular system. I use it as an external oscillator source and then mangle it with Envelopes, VCFs, and other eurorack modules. It really does take the 202 sound to a whole other level.
The spare socket placeholders in the back were used (no offkilter drilling or socket placement like some I've seen) for the cv/gate jacks.
All sliders/toggles were also cleaned during service, and everything is tip-top with this machine.
Hoping it'll find a good home. As much as I love my 202, it's time to pass it on.
