Alembic Spoiler 1984

For sale, a 1984 Alembic Spoiler 4-string bass guitar with a new fly case.

A rare bass that connoisseurs will recognize. So I don't have to present this legendary brand that paved the way for modern, active basses with thru necks.

I am parting with this gem to finance other projects. If no serious offer, I'll keep it in my collection.

This bass is in very good condition considering its age and in perfect working order.

The sound, well that's Alembic what ... Magnificent in all registers with the legendary active filter Q and the AXY4 pickups.



There are only a few scratches and small dents, finish check and wear. The original brass rod cover is missing but it can be easily replaced.

Overall I would give the condition a solid 8 out of 10. The neck is straight, trouble-free and plays great. The original frets are in excellent condition.

The electronics were overhauled last year by a luthier.
