Nope, I’m not seeing things! Someone removed the gold lettering but the “signature” is still there. You need to look at the correct angle in order to see it. I did my best to capture it in the last 2 pictures but was difficult to do. It’s more evident in person but as mentioned, still need to view it at an angle.
From a 2014 Les Paul Signature. Shows average wear with swirling and scratches but nothing out of the ordinary. 5-ply as you would see on a LP Custom. The signature is not real, it’s a foil type application (although removed as mentioned above) Gibson added commemorating Les Paul’s passing. I can include a genuine Gibson bracket with hardware for an additional $9. Let me know if you want this and I will send you the appropriate Offer.
The Fair rating refers to the missing gold letters. Otherwise, it would be in Good condition.
