Folks this was the model that did it. Way back in 2006 Ken Haas walked into my shop. He was Joe Naylor's #1 Salesman and he was looking for representation on Long island. "Sure you can stop by Ken, but I've got all the guitars I need". A couple of hours later when it was time for Ken to swing by I assume it was going to be a quick visit. Ken had this precise model in his hands. Son of a bitch he had me at hello.

The Buckshot was everything that Reverend is all at once. Totally distinct yet somehow totally familiar. In your hands it plays like a guitar with a price tag 3-4 times as expensive and it always delivers when the stage lights come on.

14 years have passed since that first visit by Ken - who owns the company now - and both I and Monster Music have bought THOUSANDS of Reverend Guitars over that time yet I still get that same feeling everytime I unbox a shipment and I will never forget the first time I looked at a Buckshot. Soak in these pics for a few moments. See if you have the same reaction that I did.

One quick thing. The pictured Reverend teardrop case is NOT included with this listing. I just wanted everyone to have a picture that shows how great this guitar mates with this case. I have plenty in stock. Shoot me an email and we can talk about prices for the case if you want to include it.

The Buckshot is all about the pickups.  The Greasy T at the bridge delivers fat tone with bite and a percussive attack. The Retro Blast at the neck puts out a full, warm tone, but it’s a bit leaner than a full-sized humbucker. They positioned it slightly farther from the neck to better match the bridge pickup’s tone and output. If you’re looking for that vintage twang, but thicker and more versatile, then the Buckshot’s for you.

I first owned Monster Music from 2005 through 2018 and now, three years later, I am bringing it back help me celebrate! By the way the final pic is of our Reverend wall. How do you like it?
