Offbeat Guitars "Model S" Guitar in Cerused (Grain-Highlighted), Dye-Stain Charred Barrel Brown on Aged Catalpa (similar to Swamp Ash) with a Vintage Spec Warmoth Roasted Maple Neck, EMG David Gilmour Stratocaster Active Pickup Set and Electronics, and Vintage Style Kluson Tremolo and Staggered Tuners.
This is a guitar David Gilmour would be proud to play (for 10 years and then auction off for $1M). It features his signature EMG Strat pickup set that includes 3 active AlNiCo pickups with a volume control a SPC (Strat Presence Control or mid-boost) and an EXG (Bass/Treble Expander or mid-scoop). This system gives you a ton of tonal options.
The body is made from light weight Catalpa (a North American wood very similar to Swamp Ash) and features beautiful, highlighted woodgrain.
The neck, in keeping with the Gilmour theme, is a 50s vintage spec soft-V profile and 7.25" radius with a 1.625" nut width made out of Roasted Maple from Warmoth. The nut is a synthetic ivory Tone Ninja model, which should be free of friction and ready for the overuse of the tremolo arm.
The hardware is all by Kluson and features staggered tuners (no need for string trees) and a vintage synchronized tremolo.
The pearloid pickguard, knobs and hardware have all been aged to go with the distressed Catalpa body.
The guitar comes with a ProRockGear Legend Series gig bag.
