1964 Gibson ES-355 w/ GA-79RVT "Cherry"

This is an incredible opportunity to own a one-owner, matching pair purchased brand new in 1964! The ES-355 was the top-of-the-line Thinline model for Gibson and production totals in 1964 amount only 198 instruments, making one this well preserved a true rarity! This guitar includes the original hardshell case and hang tags, factory gold Bigsby, and the original Stereo wiring with the Veritone circuit providing a huge array of phenomenal tones. The guitar had replacement tuners at one point but it has been returned to the originals. As if the guitar were not enough, the original owner also purchased the matching stereo GA--79RVT amplifier at the same time! The amp has a replacement grill cloth but is an otherwise extremely well preserved example with the original hang tags and a lush Stereo sound that perfectly matches the guitar! You won't find a better example of a 355 with the matching amp for sale anywhere!
